Beginning was not the choice of your own
But you walked alone, all alone.
Through the tunnel you strode
Down the long winding road.
The toiling simply will not go
The pain ever present eats into our soul.
But what you reap will be what you sow
The light at the end of the tunnel
What a glory to behold.
Than came the thought, a very faint thought
Of what will hold once all this was to go
Will it be the riches and dreams of gold?
Or a straight plung at the end of the hole?
Who knows what the future will hold?
But they told me you reap what you sow!
you choose your own fate, your very own
But still many fell both young and old.
They were not vile, they were not cold
They were good and honest
But still fell down the hole
Where is justice in this world?
Only god knows.
But we still long for riches, we long for gold
Through brimstone and fire we have moulded ourselves
Into a force that will be behold
Relentless and determine, we have walked day and night
Till the final day of September the twenty-eighth.
We will march out of the tunnel
Into what the world holds.
We know the riches will not hold
The transient memory will fade
It will just pass and go
But we will not stop.
NO NO NO
We may not control our fate
But neither will we live in regret
Of the choice we made to forsake our gold.
